The outgoing Permanent Secretary Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning and Chairman, Kogi State Committee on Food and Nutrition Mr Olajide Samuel has expressed appreciation to the Almighty God for His grace and mercy over him throughout his service years in the Kogi State Civil Service.
This statement was made during a quarterly meeting of the State Committee of Food and Nutrition in Government House yesterday.
In his statement, the outgoing Chairman who appreciated the Kogi State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo for finding him worthy of the position as well as providing enabling environment for him to serve efficiently.
Mr Olajide also thanked all the members of the Committee for their cooperation and support in various ways without which the success recorded by the Committee would not have been possible and urged them to remain committed to the course of ensuring purpose for the committee was constituted in their various Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
In his conclusion, the outgoing Chairman declared that Mallam Abubakar Musa would be standing in as the Acting Chairman pending the time a substantive Chairman would be appointed. He hereby appealed to members to cooperate with the incoming Chairman so as to take Kogi State to enviable heights amongst her other counterparts in the country.
In their various Goodwill messages, members paid a glowing tributes to the outgoing Chairman on his outstanding exceptional leadership which has significantly impacted the forum for which it was created.
Other encomiums showered on the outgoing Chairman were amongst others, his determination to succeed, his diligence, workaholic, discipline, generosity and above all, he is a man that has the fear of God.
