In a bid to ensure that every Nigerian citizen and legal resident has easy access to National Identification Number (NIN) registration services, NAPI TECHNOGIES LTD, a leading Front End Partner of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has completed the training of the 15th batch of enrollment agents.

These agents will be deployed to rural communities in the South West and South South regions to carry out enrollment of eligible persons into the National Identity Database of Nigeria.

The training, which took place at the NAPI TECHNICAL SUPPORT HUB in Lagos, featured participants from eight states, including Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Delta, Rivers, Edo, and Cross Rivers.

The CEO of NAPI, Alfred Okeme, announced that the trained agents will be deployed to local neighborhoods in the coming days to enroll people free of charge.

Okeme urged the general public to receive the agents into their communities, schools, and homes for the enrollment of men, women, youths, children, and infants.

“The NIN is a vital document that represents a human life and the possession of it determines the validity of citizenship and access to rights and privileges.

“The training is a step-down exercise of the trainings provided to NAPI’s training personnel by the NIMC, with support from the ID4D (Identify for Development) programme of the World Bank”.

NAPI’s CEO, supported by Chief Chuks Esogbue, South South Regional Chief of Operations, called on the public to cooperate with the enrollment agents, who will be visiting communities, schools, and other gathering places to provide free NIN registration services to people of all ages.
