The President of the Government Science Secondary School, Okedayo’s Alumni Association, in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Engr. Bertola Mike Ibitomihi, has been recognized as the Global Youth Education Influencer of the Year, 2025, by Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
This award is based on public opinion polls conducted by a team of experts, who acknowledged Engr. Ibitomihi’s outstanding contributions to youth education and development.
According to Elder Olalekan Aiyenigba, Executive Editor of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, Engr. Ibitomihi is a true youth influencer who has made significant impacts in encouraging young people in education.
His recognition is a testament to his dedication and commitment to empowering the next generations
He noted that the award of recognition will be bestowed on him during the upcoming 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the National Merit House in Abuja. The event will commence with a red carpet ceremony at 5 pm, followed by the main program at 6 pm, and a dinner program.
The 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, themed “Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance,” will celebrate Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s existence as an organization.
The event aims to raise funds for the procurement of podcast studio equipment and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s online Television station.
