Kogi State Council of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, MHWUN, has condoled the Chief Servant of the State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over the death of his father, Pa Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo.
In a condolence message by the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Gabriel Amari, the Union leader noted that the passing away of the Governor’s father was a collosal loss, not only to the Governor and immediate family, but to the State at large.
According to him, the father died when his wise counsels were most needed and would have been most beneficial to the people of Kogi State.
He explained that Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo did his best while alive by laying worthy legacies as demonstrated through the emergence of his Son as Governor of Kogi State.
In his words, “It is worthy of note that the late father came , saw and has conquered, his good works have spoken for him, his character has been translated to the son and so, we can see the Governor performing, doing his best as the chief servant of the state, and we are consoled that the father lived a fulfilled life”.
Comrade Amari urged the Governor and the immediate family to be consoled by the fulfillment of life, assuring that his soul will have rest.
On behalf of the officials and members of the Medical and Health Workers Union in Kogi State, Comrade Gabriel Amari also sympathized with the government and people of the state on the great loss and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.
