*PLEASE HELP SAVE MY SON’S LIFE*
*A heartfelt appeal from a parent, a student, and a believer in miracles*
Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls across the world,
I never imagined I’d be writing this kind of post. But today, I come to you not just as a father, but as a man holding onto faith and hope for the life of his child.
My son, *Fiyinfoluwa Barnabas Clement-Ake,* is just *3 years and 8 months* old. He’s full of light, laughter, and the kind of innocence that reminds you of God’s grace. But behind his smile is a daily struggle, a fight for breath, for strength, for survival.
On *May 18, 2022,* during my postgraduate studies at *ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos (JETS),* where my wife is also running her undergraduate studies, our world was shaken. Fiyinfoluwa was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening heart condition: *Cyanotic Congenital Heart Disease (Truncus Arteriosus Type 1).*
This condition means his heart didn’t form properly. It affects how blood flows through his body, making it hard for him sometimes to breathe well and grow. His heart is enlarged, weakened, and working far harder than it should. Since then, he’s been on *four different medications* —one every *6 hours,* and others every *12 hours* —just to keep him stable.
We’ve done everything we can. We’ve prayed. We’ve spent every resource we could find. We’ve knocked on doors and tried to raise the funds needed for his surgery. But despite all our efforts, we’ve not been able to gather the full amount.
Now, the situation needs urgent attention. Doctors have warned us: *if the surgery is not done immediately, it may become inoperable.* That’s a reality no parent should ever have to face.
Here’s what we urgently need to save Fiyinfoluwa’s life:
1. *Cardiac catheterization* – $1,000 USD *(₦1.6 million)*
2. *Open-heart surgery* – $12,500 USD *(₦20 million)*
3. *Flight to and from India* – *₦7.5 million* (estimate)
4. *Feeding and accommodation in India* – additional costs not yet covered
We have medical reports from *Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH)* and a letter from the *Indian hospital,* which is ready to perform the procedure. These documents are available for anyone who wishes to verify or support us.
*I am pleading with you, please help us give our son a chance to live.*
Whether it’s through financial support, sharing this post, connecting us to sponsors, or lifting us up in prayer, we need you. No contribution is too small. Every act of kindness brings us closer to saving his life.
