The Jordan Football Academy (Jordan FA) has emerged victorious in Match Day Four of the Afriskaut Elite Super League, thrashing Royal Base FC 4-0 at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja.
The six-team tournament, sponsored by the Afriskcaut/Ozi-Bako Foundation, provides a platform for young players to showcase their talents and potential.
Aliu Akorede opened the scoring for Jordan FA in the 29th minute with a penalty spot kick, followed by Kehinde Suraju’s wonderful goal in the 78th minute.
Akorede scored his second goal of the game in the 84th minute, and Alhassan Paul sealed the win with the fourth goal in the 89th minute.
Jordan FA Captain Paul Hassan attributed the team’s success to hard work and team spirit, expressing satisfaction with their performance.
The win has placed Jordan FA in second position with eight (8) points, behind Reigner FC, who currently top the league table with nine (9) points.
Jordan FA will face Reigner FC in Match Day Five on June 29 at the Confluence Stadium in Lokoja, a match that promises to be highly competitive.
Mr. Jordan Haziel, CEO and Founder of Jordan FA, praised the team’s players for their brilliant performance, describing it as credible.
He reaffirmed the academy’s commitment to providing a platform for young players to develop their skills and potentially become professionals.
