Alhaji Bello Mutari, CEO MBIG GROUP, a
Nigerian Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Entertainment Promoter, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mutari Bello Integrated Group (MBIG), a business conglomerate has been nominated for the Kogi State NUJ Award of Excellence.
The award is in recognition of Alhaji Mutari Bello’s philanthropic initiatives, particularly in Kogi State (Kogi Central), through the MBIG Foundation.

Secretary, the nomination followed the giant strides witnessed under the Nigerian Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Entertainment Promoter.
The statement noted that MBIG a business conglomerate established in 2021, launched MBIG Music, a record label dedicated to discovering and nurturing emerging talents, including rising artists like Maleeq Souls and King Obilo.
Furthermore, the award is in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District, particularly, towards improving the well-being of the people through regular empowerment.
The recognition and award is to be presented and unveiled to you at the Grand finale of the 2025 Kogi NUJ Press Week with the Theme: “Kogi State’s Solid Minerals: How Media Can Drive Development”.
The program is scheduled to hold at the EdgeDrive Hotel Lokoja, 25th September 2025 at 10:00am.
His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Kogi State Executive Governor, would serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the Press Week Grand finale.
His Royal Majesty, the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu would serve as the Royal father of the day.
