In a gesture of honor and respect, Hon. Tosin Olokun, the Chairman of Yagba West Council, today presented his new official vehicles to Engineer Olusegun Joseph, the Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, at the Commissioner’s office. This presentation was made to seek blessings and prayers for the new vehicles, which were previously allocated to him and 20 other council chairmen in the state by Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo during a ceremony at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Center in Lokoja.
The Executive Chairman expressed his deep appreciation, acknowledging the Commissioner as a true progressive leader and a supportive brother who is genuinely committed to the welfare of the people in Yagba West Local Government Area.
He commended Engineer Joseph for being a reliable servant of the state governor.
In response to the loyalty demonstrated by the Yagba West Chairman, Engineer Olusegun Joseph took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the privilege of serving as Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management. He emphasized the importance of his role in the administration and his position as a political leader in Yagba West Local Government. Engineer Joseph praised Hon. Tosin Olokun for his unwavering commitment and consistency in his role as Executive Chairman and as the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria in Kogi State. He offered prayers for Olokun, expressing his belief that his loyalty and dedication to Governor Ododo’s leadership would eventually lead him to higher political positions in the near future. The Commissioner assured his continued support for the Chairman and all areas of community development.
