The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Prof. (Chief) Salisu O. Usman, has congratulated former Governor Yahaya Bello on his 50th birthday anniversary.

In a heartfelt tribute on Wednesday in Lokoja, Prof. Usman celebrated Ex-Governor Bello’s remarkable leadership and legacy, describing him as a “Bridge-builder and pathfinder” who has made a lasting impact on the state.

He joined numerous well-wishers in celebrating Bello’s milestone birthday, acknowledging his contributions to the state’s development.

Prof. Usman commended Ex-Governor Bello’s zeal, boldness, and progressive leadership disposition, which have uplifted the youth, women, and people living with disability.

He noted that Bello’s selfless leadership styles have become a source of strength and inspiration for many.

The Rector highlighted Bello’s historic and barrier-breaking leadership strategies, which have unsettled critics and naysayers.

Prof. Usman described Ex-Governor Bello as a “Bridge-builder” who has left remarkable footprints and legacies in Kogi State.

He expressed pride in Bello’s achievements and noted that his deeds speak for themselves.

The Rector prayed for Bello’s sound health, greater heights, and immeasurable wisdom in the years ahead.

“Your Excellency, as one of your most inspired devotees, I have always admired and cherished your zeal, boldness, doggedness, audacity and progressive leadership disposition which have uplifted the youth, women and people living with disability to a whole new status.

“Your selfless leadership styles, through which you offered a generous shoulder for us all to lean on, have become a source of strength, inspiration and a shining example for many of us.

“Worthy of note is your historic and barrier-breaking leadership strategies that have unsettled the traducers and naysayers.

“However, the allergy of some people to honey does not negate the fact that it is naturally sweet. In the words of Robert Greene, “Deeds Do Not Lie”.

“I am proud of your remarkable footprints and legacies in Kogi State, particularly as a Bridge-builder,” Prof. Usman said.

The Rector’s tribute is a testament to Bello’s enduring legacy and impact on Kogi State.
