In celebration of the Eid el Kabir festivities, the Baale of Amuro Land, His Highness, Chief Eric Fiki, has extended warm felicitations to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and all Muslims in Kogi State and beyond.
Chief Fiki, in his felicitation message on Friday in Lokoja, congratulated the Muslim faithful and urged them to continue to offer prayers for the governor and President Bola Tinubu.
The Amuro Baale commended the governor for his commitment to deepening security, expanding infrastructure, supporting farmers and traders, and strengthening education and healthcare systems.
“As I join Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in celebrating this auspicious occasion, I wish to express my profound appreciation for his tireless efforts in transforming Kogi State.
“The governor’s achievements in various sectors of the economy are truly remarkable, and I am confident that his leadership will continue to yield positive outcomes for our state.
“I pray that God will grant him divine wisdom and guidance as he pilots the affairs of Kogi State, enabling him to reach even greater heights.
“May this Eid El-Kabir celebration bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all Muslims in Kogi State. May God bless our governor and continue to guide him in his noble endeavors,” the Baale Amuro prayed.
Eid El-Kabir is a significant occasion in the Islamic calendar, commemorating Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail.
The celebration is a time for Muslims to reflect on their faith, sacrifice, and devotion, and to come together with family and friends in a spirit of community and unity.
