In line with the vision of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, to ensure that good governance reaches the grassroots, the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, through the KFF Foundation, has appointed Grassroots Assistants across the 10 wards of Mopamuro Local Government Area, Kogi State.
In a statement released shortly after the presentation of appointment letters to the beneficiaries, Hon. Fanwo congratulated them for their commitment and loyalty to the APC at all levels, describing their dedication to the party as significant and impactful.
The Commissioner urged the appointees to return to their respective communities and work tirelessly for the re-election of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, stressing that his second term in office is non-negotiable. He further emphasized that their loyalty to the government must be absolute and prayed that Almighty God would guide and strengthen them in discharging their duties.
The immediate past Chairman of Mopamuro LGA and current Special Adviser to the Executive Governor on Cultural Integration (West), Hon. Moses Sunday David (Alumo), who presented the appointment letters on behalf of Hon. Fanwo commended the KFF Foundation for its life-changing empowerment initiatives that have touched the nooks and crannies of the local government area and Okunland as a whole.
He described Hon. Fanwo’s love for the people, especially the youths and widows—as exceptional, praying that God, in His infinite mercy, would continue to uphold and bless him and his family.
Responding to the gesture, the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to the KFF Foundation and, in particular, to Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, pledging their unwavering support to the APC at all levels and to the Chief Servant of Kogi State.
“We, the Grassroots Assistants, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for this appointment.
