The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party [PDP], Federal Capital Territory , Alhaji Mohammed Dugara Ismaila has officially presented ,Hon Abdulrahman Mohammed as their sole candidate for the chairmanship position of North Central Zone ahead of this weekend’s zonal national convention of the party expected to hold in Jos , Plateau State, North centre of Nigeria.
Addressing a large crowd of kogi state working committee of the party in Lokoja,on Monday,hon Dugara Mohammed Ismailia hinted that the overriding essence of their visit to kogi state chapter of the party was to present the only candidate which there are marketing to the covet position at Jos convenction slated to hold this Saturday [12-04-2025].
The federal capital territory [Abuja], People’s Democratic party chairman appealed to his Kogi state chapter delegates to the convention to give their unfettered and unwavering political support by embracing the candidature of hon Abdulrahman’s to emerge winner at the convection..
Hon Abdulrahman Mohamed,whom the Alhaji Dugara Mohammed described as trust-worthy, core party man, loyalty,and a grassroots politician, explained that if given the mandate during this weekend’s zonal convection, assured of his readiness to bring his vast human experience, knowledge and expertise to bear in the management of the Zonal party’s activities and ensure the party’s political overwhelming successes in the zone and the country as a whole.
With the prevailing economy crunch that has caused havoc and severe economic retardation,hunger and untold hardship to the commoners which is a fall out of the removal of “Fuel Subsidy”by the current All progressives congress led federal government,the fct chairman of the People’s Democratic party, advocated for sincere unity among chieftains and supporters across the country as a necessary condition to uproot the failed government at the centre.
“Our mission to kogi State today is straight forward and simple -We of the Federal capital territory , People’s Democratic Party[PDP] has resolved to support and presents ,hon Abdulrahman Mohamed as our sole candidate in the forthcoming zonal convention in Jos,Plateau this Saturday and we are craving for your massive support to Abdulrahman’s candidature”.Dugara noted.
In a brief remark, Kogi state chairman of the People’s Democratic party,Mr. Sunday Anyebe told the visiting counterpart from fct chapter that the party is firmly grounded to win future elections convincingly.
According to him, necessary arrangements are in place to correct the anomalies that affected the party’s chance to wins previous elections in the state asserted that despite the challenges all hands are on deck by party’s chieftains and supporters to work for the landslide victory of the party and its candidates in the upcoming polls.

The occasion had in attendance, the state working committee of the party,elected members of the party, formers Speakers, deputy speakers, Chieftains, ardent supporters,Women and Youth leaders were they all drum political support to the emergence of hon Abdulrahman’s candidature during the Jos zonal convention for this weekend.
