The General Manager of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Momoh Dauda, is set to receive a Special Recognition Award for community development services from Democracy Newsline Newspaper.
According to a statement signed by the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Olugbemi Femi, Chief Momoh is an outstanding personality who has made meaningful contributions to the development of various communities in Kogi State.
He noted that under his leadership, the agency has impacted communities in areas such as education, health, and provision of social amenities.
The award is based on reports from a team of experts who conducted an opinion poll. The recognition will be bestowed on Chief Momoh during the upcoming 15th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, scheduled to hold on August 26, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, starting from 5pm Red Carpet ceremony while the main event will commence by 6pm, followed by a dinner program
The event’s theme is “Role of Independent Media in Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance.”
It will feature a keynote address, the launch of a N100 million fund for podcast studio equipment, and the establishment of Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s online Television station.
