Lokoja, Sept. 11, 2025

A Board Member of Kogi State Utility Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency (KUIMCA), Hon. Paul Agada, has called on residents of Olamaboro Local Government Area to register for their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC).

Agada made this appeal during a meeting with political appointees under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, on Wednesday in Olamaboro Local Government Area

Hon. Agada highlighted Gov. Ododo’s administration’s achievements in various sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, and education.

He noted that the government has boosted food security, invested in hospital infrastructure, and improved educational institutions. Specifically, Prince Abubakare Audu University and Kogi State Polytechnic have secured accreditations and partnerships.

Hon. Agada urged residents to register for their PVC, emphasizing that it is crucial for re-electing Governor Ododo in 2027.

He also suggested that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should train youths in using Android phones for biometric capturing to address logistical challenges.

He revealed that telco network and logistics issues have hindered the PVC registration process in some wards.

He commended the leadership role of Hon. Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, Commissioner for Youths and Sport, and other appointees for their mobilization efforts.

Hon. Agada expressed confidence in Governor Ododo’s second term, citing his numerous achievements and delivery of campaign promises.

He noted that the governor has delivered 90% of his promises, including improvements in education, security, infrastructure, agriculture, sports, and prompt payment of salaries.
