As the world marks the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child, JOPALJIKS Foundation, through its flagship program “Pad a Girl Child Initiative” joins the global community in celebrating the strength, resilience, and potential of every girl.

This year’s theme, “Invest in Girls’ Rights: Our Leadership, Our Well-being,” resonates deeply with JOPALJIKS Foundation’s mission to create safe spaces and equal opportunities for girls, particularly in underserved communities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Founder of the Foundation, Ms. Ajifa Gold Ainoko, emphasized the need for sustained action toward gender equality and menstrual health inclusion.

> “Every girl deserves dignity, education, and the freedom to dream without limitations. Through our Pad a Girl Child Initiative, we have continued to reach out to public schools providing menstrual hygiene materials, mentorship, and education on health and self-worth. Our goal is to ensure that no girl is left behind because of her biological realities,”

Ainoko stated.

Since its inception, the Pad a Girl Child Initiative has impacted hundreds of girls through menstrual hygiene awareness campaigns, distribution of sanitary products, and advocacy on girls’ education and empowerment.

Ainoko further called on government agencies, corporate bodies, and well-meaning individuals to partner with the Foundation in advancing the rights and welfare of the girl child.

> “Empowering a girl means empowering a community. Let us continue to invest in the future by standing up for girls everywhere,”

she added.

As JOPALJIKS Foundation celebrates this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, it reaffirms its unwavering dedication to building a world where every girl can live with confidence, pursue education, and contribute meaningfully to society.
