A one day lecture for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSMEs has been held in Lokoja with a charge to work towards achieving economic transformation in all businesses.
The programme which held at Spring building of government house Lokoja was organized by the Mukudan Asiwaju Asiru Idris (MAAI) Network for Governor Ododo MSMS Support grant Initiative.
The event with the theme “Access to Finance, Financial planning, Financial Management and Strategy for business growth” was put together by the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru .
The Initiative is a deliberate effort to support the governor’s drive to empower entrepreneurs for sustainable engagement , self reliance and contribution to the state Economic growth.
Speaking at the event, the Initiator and commissioner of Finance and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru congratulated all entrepreneurs for attending the lecture and advised them to replicate same.
In a speech, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA), Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji enumerated the activities of the Agency to include Access to Finance, Financial planning, Financial Management and Strategy for business growth.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer who was represented by the Executive Director, Operations in the Agency, Mr Akinyemi Akinola, urged interested entrepreneurs to always capitalize on the opportunity to meet experts for advises that will help boost their various businesses.
