The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji has assured the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO) of ensuring a society free of corruption.
Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji stated this when Officers of the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO) paid him a visit in his office in Lokoja.
The Managing Director expressed surprise that the Agency is being noticed from afar by some men of proven character who insist on ensuring integrity in the society.
According to him, the Agency is working hard in its own Small way at putting smiles on the faces of the ordinary Nigerian who are prepared to embark on Small and Medium Scale Enterprise businesses.
While urging the group to continue to do more, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer assured that KEDA would do what it can to partner with them to enable them succeed noting that their activities would also encourage public office holders to put in their best in the development of the state.
The Managing Director thanked the Organisation for the award and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Earlier, the Executive Director, Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO), Prince Salih Musa Yakubu, said the Centre is awarding the Chief Executive and other management staff of the Agency because of their deligent fight against all forms of corruption and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Prince Salih noted that the award is coming after a secret investigation of the activities of the Chief Executive and management of KEDA and called on them not to relent in their fight against corruption and its practices in their work place and the nation in general.
Other management staff also awarded include, Executive Director, Administration and Finance, Mr. Usman Zubair, Executive Director, Operations, Mr. Akinola Akinyemi John, Accountant, Mr. Abdullahi Yusuf, Secretary/Legal Adviser, Mrs. Joshua Toyin Mercy and the Administrative Officer, Mr. Jegede Peter Itopa as well as the Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA).
