Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has congratulated the christians in the state and around the globe on the occasion of the Easter Celebration.
In a statement by the Hon. Commissioner, he described the Easter season as a period of sober reflection of Christ unending and unquantifiable love towards humanity.
He maintained that the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ depict the great love of God for humanity.
“I extend my warm Easter greetings to all the christians in Kogi State and around the world. As we commemorate the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, let’s exhibit the lessons of our Lord Jesus Christ by being obedient, loving and reflecting on the significance of this season.” Hon. Fanwo stated.
Hon. Fanwo emphasized that the season reminds believers of the need for love, sacrifice, a renewed hope and perseverance even in tribulations. “Easter season is a quick remainder of absolute love, sacrifice, renewal of hope and perseverance in the test of time.” He highlighted.
He urged the citizenry to use this sacred season to pray relentlessly for the peace, unity and progress of the state and Nigeria.
The Hon. Commissioner reiterated the Chief Servant’s unwavering commitment to building a safe and more prosperous Kogi State, adding that the Governor has concentrated on delivering impactful governance, sustaining peace, in order to attract both local and foreign investors that would transform Kogi State.
Hon. Fanwo wished the citizenry a peaceful, fruitful and joyous Easter Celebration, urging everyone to show love to one and another.
