KOGI NUP CHAIR GREETS COMR ONU ABDULAHI ON HIS EMERGENCE AS DEPUTY NATIONAL PRESIDENT .
The leadership of Kogi state chapter of Nigeria Union of Pensioners [NUP] ,under the workaholic and results oriented leadership of Elder engr.clement Otaru Ohida,has on behalf of the state working committee and the entire senior citizens has felicitated with the former state chairman of the Union,Chief Onu Usman Abdulahi on his monumental victory as the Deputy National President of the Union.
At a keenly contested election far away Kano state, north west, Nigeria, Chief Onu Usman Abdulahi defeated other contestants with a wide margin to emerged as the Deputy National President of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners [NUP]
In his felicitation message to the new Deputy National President ,the state chairman of the Union,Elder Engr.Clement Otaru Ohida which was made available to Media houses in Lokoja today,congratulated Chief Onu Usman Abdulahi on his political show of strength, acceptability, integrity and popularity which earned him the landslide victory at the just held national delegate conference of the Union.
According to him,the victory of chief Onu Usman Abdulahi to them in Kogi state chapter of the Union is putting a square peg in a square hole judging from chief Onu’s track record of achievements when he held sway holding several positions at the State level.
Kogi state Pensioners boss, however , expressed explicit confidence and trust in the new Deputy National President of the Union to be on driver seat to provide quality leadership and sound representation asserted that Chief Onu Usman Abdulahi has not only been groomed over the years for leadership but has shown capacity and capability in the several positions he held sway in the past and delivered to the admiration of his people.
Elder,Engr.Clement Otaru Ohida,used the avenue to reiterates the unwavering support of Kogi state chapter of the Union of one hundred percent support and cooperation to enable his tenure as the Deputy National President of the Union results oriented.
He asked God Almighty to continue to provide the new Deputy National President, Chief Onu Usman Abdulahi the vigour, knowledge,wisdom, sound health and all it takes for his leadership to turnaround the fortune of retirees nationwide.
