KOGI NYCN PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOVERNOR ODODO’S ADMINISTRATION

Kogi State Coordinators of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo leadership in the state.

This was part of the resolution of the meeting with the newly elected NYCN Local Government Coordinators across the State held at the office of the State Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development in Lokoja.

Speaking during the meeting, former Chairman of the State Council, Comrade Bala Ibrahim said the decision to pass a vote of confidence on the Governor was unanimously taken by the critical stakeholders and the twenty one Local Government Coordinators of the Council.

Comrade Ibrahim noted that the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has done well for the Council, especially the payment of monthly subvention, appointment of members into his administration.

While expressing appreciation to Governor Ododo for his quality Leadership style in the state, Comrade Bala Ibrahim assured the Governor of the continued support of the State Council.

On his part, a critical stakeholder of the Council, Comrade Alfa Ebune also move a motion for a vote of confidence on the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe for carrying the Youths along in his scheme of things.

Responding unbehalf of the newly elected Coordinators, the Ijumu Local Government Coordinator, Comr. Felix Sunday described the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as impressive and assured of their commitment, dedication and loyalty to the present administration.

Earlier, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe who said the Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is for the youths, urged the newly elected coordinators to carry every members of their Council along for the growth and development of their area.

The Commissioner while assuring the Coordinators of the present administration’s continued support to the Council, congratulated them on their successful election.
