The Legends Club of Okun Land is set to host a prestigious Civic Reception in honor of newly appointed Federal Government appointees of Okun origin.
Scheduled to take place on June 26, 2025, at Haris Hotel, Wuye, Abuja, the event promises to bring together distinguished sons and daughters of Okun Land from across the country.
The Chairman of the Planning Committee, Legend Mofolami Onirinwa, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Legend Onirinwa said the the Civic Reception will be a gathering of visionaries committed to the progress of Okun Land and Nigeria at large.
He said the event will feature notable stakeholders, including members of the National Assembly, traditional rulers, captains of industry, and public servants.
According to him, the reception aims to celebrate the appointments of these distinguished individuals and deepen collaboration among Okun stakeholders.
“The event seeks to galvanize collective efforts for regional advancement, strengthen networks, and champion a shared vision for the socio-economic transformation of Okun Land.
“It will also provide an opportunity to engage the appointees on the expectations of the people and reaffirm the Legends Club’s commitment to good governance, inclusive development, and community empowerment.
“The Legends Club of Okun Land is committed to celebrating excellence, fostering unity, and supporting the aspirations of Okun people at home and in the diaspora,” he said.
This event is a testament to the Club’s dedication to the progress and development of Okun Land.
