The Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers,
Comr. Yakubu Dauda, has expressed his deepest appreciation to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo over the commencement of payment of leave bonuses to Primary School Teachers in the State.

The NUT Chairman described Gov. Ododo as a talk and do Governor, said the last time leave bonuses were paid to Primary School Teachers in the State was over 13 years ago.

“Let me publicly praise the present administration of Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo in the State. It is without mincing words that since his assumption, he has made impact on all fronts of the State’s economy.

“But we in the NUT wish to say with all emphasis that the present administration has made the welfare of Primary School Teachers a top priority since his administration”.

“Primary School Teachers in Kogi State under the umbrella of the Nigerian Union of Teachers wish to reiterate that by the unprecedented priority placed on the welfare of Teachers, reiterate our resolve of our earlier stand, that we declare our support to your purposeful and God fearing leadership now and always.

Comr. Dauda described the administration of Gov Ododo as one that has been rewarding for Primary School Teachers in the State.

The NUT Chairman again commended Gov Ododo for payment N72,000 minimum wage, described Gov. Ododo as God sent.
