The Peace Ambassador Advocacy Network (PAAN) is set to host the “Nigeria Most Notable Female Advocate” Awards, a prestigious national event honoring the outstanding achievements of Nigerian women across law, governance, media, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

Venue: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Auditorium, Abuja

Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM WAT

This historic event will recognize over 50 trailblazing Nigerian women who have consistently advocated for human rights, gender equity, and national development. It aims to shine a spotlight on their powerful voices and transformational contributions to society.

According to PAAN President, Amb. Onuche Kingsley, “This ceremony is more than an award—it is a national statement that Nigerian women are not only participating in change; they are leading it. These honorees exemplify courage, intellect, and vision. Their stories must be told, celebrated, and amplified.”

The “Most Notable Female Advocate” Awards is designed to:

Celebrate women driving impactful advocacy and reform in Nigeria

Inspire the next generation of female leaders and peacebuilders

Award Presentations across several categories: Legal Advocacy, Youth Empowerment, Media Impact, Public Service, and Community Leadership

Panel Discussions: “The Future of Female Advocacy in Nigeria”

Performances: Cultural tributes and spoken word poetry from young female voices.
