While the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District claims to have completed various projects within his district, it is the constitutional right of the citizens of Kogi West to hold him accountable. Our previous publication emphasized the need for empowerment and employment opportunities for the youth and women of the western Senatorial District.

Some of the projects attributed to our senator do not measure up to the standard set by other legislators in similar positions. While we do not wish to compare him to his peers in Kogi State and the north central region, it is disappointing to note that his performance falls below average.

The projects Senator Karimi claims to have completed pale in comparison to the achievements of other legislators in his category. Our call for accountability is not meant to criticize him but to urge him to match the performance of his colleagues by creating job opportunities and empowerment programs, particularly for the youth in Yagba Federal Constituency.

Our request for improved performance is inspired by the successful empowerment programs implemented by other senators. It is time for our senator to move beyond temporary relief efforts like rice distribution and focus on sustainable empowerment initiatives that will truly impact the lives of our people

This is a comprehensive call to action for our senator to take action and implement meaningful initiatives to create opportunities for our constituents. The future success of the Yagba Federal constituency relies heavily on his accomplishments.

As members of the Yagba Youths Liberation Movement (YYLM), we can not sit idly by and watch our federal constituency suffer due to the inadequate performance of our Sen We appreciate the efforts of the Kogi West Patriotic Assembly in highlighting the achievements of Senator Karimi, and we urge them to join us in demanding accountability from our leader. It is crucial that our senator implements impactful empowerment programs and creates job opportunities for our young graduates.

Now is the time for us to move away from complacency and demand excellence from our leaders. We must hold them accountable and push for quality legislative representation. We must not settle for mediocrity.

We call on Senator Karimi to prioritize real development and empowerment for our constituents. We do so with no ill will, bitterness, or malice. We urge him not to be swayed by flattery and insincere praise but to focus on the well-being of our people. He must be proactive in providing essential healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for our community.

Kogi West Senatorial District is a collective responsibility. Let us work together to ensure a brighter future for all.

Sincerely,Comrade Ekundayo Solomon Aloko from Odole Mopa writes from Lokoja
