Representing Governor, His Excellency Usman Ododo, the Deputy Governor Comrade Joel Salifu delivered a speech that stirred emotions, showcasing Olori Marie’s renowned traits of peace, contentment, and selflessness. He lauded her as a woman of immense substance and courage, urging all present to uphold her values and ensure her impactful contributions endure.
In a poignant gesture of remembrance, the Governor implored the congregation to contribute to the construction of an educational facility in honor of the late Olori Marie Owoniyi, underscoring her tireless efforts towards uplifting her community and empowering its youth through education.
Bishop Steven Akobe of the Anglican communion, Kabba Dioceses reflected on the inevitability of death but emphasized the significance of leading a life guided by the principles of Christ, much like Olori Marie had exemplified. He extolled her as a devout Christian whose life serves as a beacon for others to emulate.
