WORKER’S DAY: KOGI NUP CHAIR CALLS GOVERNMENT TO DE-FRAY GRATUITY OF MEMBERS

Kogi state chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners Clement Otaru Ohida, has renewed his appealed to kogi state government under the amiable leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, to partner with Financial institutions to defray the long outing gratuity owed retirees.

Elder[ Engr] Ohida who made the appeal while answering questions from Newsmen at the main bowl of President Muhammad Buhari public square Lokoja Lokoja ,explained that if the far reaching decision is taken it will help retirees to address their challenges in the present economic predicaments.

He appreciated the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the restoration of one hundred percent pension payment for retirees especially local government Pensioners, including capturing Pensioners in the “Health Insurance Scheme” and in addition ten thousand naira increase for all retirees in the state.

Engr. Clement Otaru Ohida, while commemorating with the entire workers on the occasion of twenty, twenty five “International Workers Day” celebration, advocated for a motivated work force asserted that workers incentive will lead to greater productivity and boost the economic of the state.

The Kogi state chairman , commended workers for their dedication and hard work to duties, emphasizing that with their cooperation to the state government, better days ahead.
